Cycling out of Bundi, Rajasthan just after dawn. The last stars fading, the smell of morning woodsmoke.
A glimpse of shocking green sari moving through the brush; stately, graceful. The low sun glinting off the brass of the panihari’s water pots, catching in my memory.
