Description

The latest collection  GREAT INDIA (from the Indian Lorry series)  references the Delhi Metro. Each colour way, the specific coloured metro line. The artwork title,  a metro station on that line, carries Natasha’s memories.

#Lajpat Nagar is associated with home and family. It is where her family rebuilt their lives, like thousands of other exiled Kashmiri refugees who fled Pakistan after the Partition.
The 22-carat gold leaf acknowledges what remained of the family fortune, a single gold bar, she once carried back to her father as gold bangles soldered onto her wrists.
