The Rasa series began in 2010, was first exhibited at the Royal Geographical Society in Jan 2012, at the Saatchi Gallery in Oct 2012 and at the Southbank in 2014. They are all unique works on paper and include techniques particular to Natasha Kumar.

The Rasa’s are an extension of the  fine architectural studies of the  Chhatris. Inspired by the concentric stone carved circles on the  underside of the chhatri dome,  Kumar’s Rasa collection brings together the abstract and the actual in vivid, hypnotising work that  references Mughal architecture and  her Indian heritage.
